Chapter 466: SACRIFICE (2)
"Kill him!" One of the warriors of the Howling Wolf pack shouted when he saw Redmond approaching them. "He is the warrior from the Blue Moon pack!"
All the warriors around, who heard that, immediately rushed toward Redmond with the intention to kill him. Ethan must have not thought about this kind of reaction from his fellow warriors when he sent Redmond alone to meet Jace at the entrance gates, as his mind was occupied with a lot of things.
But, fortunately, Jace was nearby and he stopped his warriors before they could shred Redmond into pieces.
"Step back!" Jace roared to stop them from shifting into their beasts and fighting Redmond. Five warriors continued seething, but the others immediately backed off. "I command you to step back!" Jace was enraged when his warriors didn’t listen to his order.
The said five warriors gritted their teeth, as if they were about to argue, but when they saw Jace’s expression, they quickly lowered their heads and stepped back.
Redmond threw them a nasty look. He would gladly fight them all, but right now, he had no time to prolong this offense, as he was so infuriated by the fact Lyle had backstabbed him by mobilizing the warriors from the Blue Moon pack without his permission.
How long had he been planning all of this for?
"Ethan sent you here?" Jace asked Redmond. The two of them couldn’t be said to be close, but they were on amicable terms with each other, especially when Redmond knew a lot about Cane’s plans and his secrets, almost as much as Jace and Ethan did.
There was even a point of time, when Jace saw him as one of them, but he was not sure where Redmond was standing in this situation. After all, out there, those people, who would gladly ransack the Howling Wolf pack, were the very people, who he grew up with.
