A smile curved Lou’s lips, but there was this fire in his eyes when he stared at Cane, as the Alpha sat down on the sofa and waved his hand, indicating for him to sit down as well.
This orphanage was not the merchant’s place and he was only a guest here, but the way Cane treated him was too outrageous! He just came to visit and gave Iris a bucket of flowers, why did he look so hostile?!
Lou really wanted to curse this alpha!
But in the end, he kept his smile and sat down docilely, or that was how he wanted to appear in front of the Alpha, so Cane wouldn’t put up his guard too high with him. However, aside from this excuse, Lou couldn’t think of another good one.
"I only want to discuss business with you, it’s necessary to keep contact with people in business. After all, we have not yet met for long." Lou looked like a harmless man when he smiled at Cane, but of course, the Alpha didn’t buy it. "I want to leave a good impression on the citizens."
"Building magical devices in the capital city around this time will leave a good impression on people about you." Especially after two monster attacks, no one would think bad about him.
