Alpha Gallot saw the opportunity to sway Iris to his side, thus he thought why not give it a shot. Magic stones mine was a valuable asset after all. It would be a waste if Cane was unable to exploit the benefits of having one to the fullest.

All the people had dispersed already. "You saw it. How unhinged the gamma is. I am sure your Alpha also hurt you before and he will hurt you again. I am here to save you from it."

Iris remembered Hanna told her that. Hurt people would, intentionally or unintentionally, hurt the people around them. They would shut them out and hurt them, because they were in so much pain. They didn’t know what to do with that pain or how to get rid of it.
