Chapter 147: THE GREEDY ALPHA
By any means... this bear didn’t even look scary or dangerous at all. How could a creature that was having a hard time moving its own butt like this could put you in danger?
Cane didn’t even move when the bear dragged its big tummy toward Iris and nuzzled the bundle in her arms. This bear knew that this bundle was filled with the water magic stones and wanted a share.
And when Iris didn’t move, it started to whine pitifully, trying to get her sympathy while acting all cute and spoiled.
"You want this?" Iris took out one of the water magic stones and the bear rolled on the ground happily. "Is it really a bear? Why does it act like a dog?" She murmured to herself.
The bear slobbered her hand and crunched on the water magic stone, just like a little kid who got a candy.
Iris laughed lightly, but when she saw the bear’s saliva on her hand, she grimaced. Agh... she used Cane’s cloak, which was now the makeshift bundle in her arms to wipe it off, while the bear seemingly enjoyed the treat.
"Is there a creature that eats magic stones?" Iris looked at Cane puzzled, but the alpha didn’t seem to have any idea about this either.
"Let’s go. We found it." Cane walked away.
Actually, it would be right to say that this bear was the one that found them...
