The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter

Chapter 139: SERAFIM’S MYTICAL CREATURES

Cane knew this place from Redmond, the place where you could buy all the information or at the very least, get someone to get the information for you.

This place was owned by an old sorcerer and because of the exorbitant price, not anyone could afford his services.

However, before they could meet with the sorcerer, there was a pageboy, who would ask what their business was. He would relay it to the sorcerer, but if that person didn’t deem the business was to his liking or worth his time, he would turn them down.

"What do you want to know, Sir?" the pageboy asked, he looked so young, probably only eleven or twelve years old. He was standing behind the trellis, wearing shabby clothes that looked bigger for his thin body. Needless to say, he must have been a slave before he was bought and made to work here, even so he was still a slave.

He looked so timid as he fidgeted nonstop, he was intimidated by the alpha’s towering figure.

Cane tapped Iris’ shoulder and opened his palm. She understood and took out the little lizard from her pouch and dropped it on his palm.

"Tell him, I want to ask about this," Cane said. He pinched the little creature by its tail and hung it in the air, as the little lizard breathed fire, but it was not enough to burn anything.

The pageboy stepped closer to Cane and narrowed his eyes. He was not sure what to call this little creature, but he could describe it to the sorcerer.

"Wait for a minute," the boy said, as he rushed into the house, leaving Cane and Iris alone in this secluded street. Not many people were passing by this side.
