"I’m not a part of this toxicity," Primo remarked as he leaned back against the intricate chair while eating chips. "I came with them last night because I thought it was fun since they do it all the time."
Princess chuckled and shook her head. "I don’t know this either. Joker, that’s not nice."
"Of course, it’s not! Why would I do it if it is?" Joker roared and shook his head. "But it was funny! They can try all they want, but the next person who will marry is me!"
Princess and Primo exchanged looks while Joker was laughing evilly again.
Unfortunately, all the speed dating and blind dates Axel, Moose, and Gray attended were all hosted by Joker. And yes, everyone participating was just actors he hired to pull the biggest prank on those three. It was toxic, but also deadly. This was a dangerous game only Joker would play.
"You have a death wish. But yeah, it’s funny." Primo nodded as he couldn’t deny it. "That look on Moose’s face is superb."
Princess sighed and cast Joker a look. "If they found out, don’t tell me I didn’t warn you."
"Yeah. You better know how to hide then because all your remaining fingers will disappear," Primo added before he raised his brows when he saw Bear walking out with Sebastian while carrying Miracle in his arms.
Unlike them, Bear and Princess decided to stay in the Zhu Palace to help Hera and Dominic with the place. Not just them, but many other reapers ended up applying to Hera as house workers. So, it wasn’t a stretch to say this mansion was filled with excellent assassins as maids, cooks, servers, and even gardeners.
