Hera already discussed her plans with Nigel before the meeting. Hence, he was aware that Hera would appoint him as the interim head until Charlotte was ready. Even so, he was a little worried about Hera.
Nigel was aware of Hera’s recent financial struggle. If she left now, even Dominic’s financial aid wouldn’t be enough to settle the entire financial problem. Hence, he discussed it with Charlotte as he believed that even if he was given the authority to decide, Charlotte still had the right to know about it and decide with him.
"Hera! Nigel told me about your financial problems, you can take our family’s money!"
Moose’s eyes blazed and quickly rushed to Charlotte’s side. "Miss Charlotte, are you sure about that?"
"Yes!"
"How much?"
Charlotte rubbed his chin and turned to Nigel.
Nigel smiled and said, "We’ll still need to recover the losses of the Oxley Family and compensate for the damages Florence Oxley caused. However, we’ll do our best to give you as much as the Oxley Family can."
Hearing this, Moose wasn’t reassured. Considering the ruins of the island and the damage Florence had caused, he already estimated how much the Oxley family would have to shell out just for those.
