Chapter 1184: It’s a shame she’s your daughter
[8 HOURS BEFORE THE ATTACK]
"Where is she?!" Florence jumped out of the chopper and stormed her way to the servants, waiting for her arrival. All of them bore a look of fear, lowering their head the second they saw the fire in the madam’s eyes.
Seeing their despondent faces, Florence’s entire body shook with anger. She clasped her hands tightly, grinding her teeth angrily.
"Nigel, take them out of my sight and teach them a lesson," she ordered through her gritted teeth. "And deploy our people for a search. Retrack Charlotte’s track and find whoever took her away."
Nigel lowered his head and glanced at one of their soldiers on standby. He tipped his head at the soldiers, and the latter nodded in understanding.
"Madam, we —"
Florence didn’t care what bullshit excuse the servants would tell her. They had one job, and they failed. Thus, she didn’t waste a second of her time to listen to them. Nigel, on the other hand, cast the servants an apologetic look before following Florence to the mansion.
"Madam," he called in a hurry, walking a step behind the madam. "It is possible that the Young Mistress isn’t taken away by anyone."
"What are you saying now, Nigel? I don’t have time for your lectures." Florence grumbled without stopping at her pace. "Call for a meeting. No. Give out an order. I don’t care if you deploy all our people in the society or all my people outside. I don’t care how they’re going to do it. Just find her."
