Chapter 1079: Tell her or I would

Days had passed by in a blur. Many created memories. Some lived the best they could, while others tried their best to make it in life. But for others like the Reapers and those they had left behind, time stayed still.

The only changes they got were the dates in their calendars, days turned nights, and nights turned to another day. But everything was the same. They were stuck in the darkness, walking in a long tunnel in hopes they could see the light at the end if they only persevered in this darkness.

"You should tell her." Moose stood beside the bed, eyes on Ram, who was lying in it. "You better tell her now before she finds out about it herself."

Ram slowly looked up at the man who saved his life. His lips parted but then closed them again.

"One thing I realized as I grow older is that people tend to be stubborn," Moose remarked, seeing that Ram doesn’t have plans to tell Hera about his health condition. "Damn. It makes me not want to grow old."

"In a few months, my term will end," Ram spoke after a prolonged silence. "Until then, I want to help her."

"Does she even need your help?"

"I’m not the one who betrayed her," Ram argued. "While you were playing with the Zhu’s, I was doing my best to protect her."

Moose let out a scoff, rocking his head. "Sure. If that’s what you want to believe and you see nothing wrong with it, then sure." He tapped the chart in his hand, smacking his lips.
