Chapter 1011: Wants public apology
[Interpol: Interrogation Room]
"He won’t talk." A man standing among a few men in the observation room kept their eyes on the mirror where they could see Wolf. "Someone like him won’t talk, no matter what. He’s trained for that."
Silence filled the observation room, wearing grim expressions. It had been days since they arrested the chief of the Central Intelligence, but even after that, they hadn’t gathered any useful information from him. Wolf would only talk nonsense, claim innocence without making an effort, or stay quiet.
No matter what the investigator used to him, nothing would come through Wolf.
"Reapers..." the middle-aged man crossed his arms under his chest. "If that’s true, then we need more evidence than we already had."
"Captain, I did what you told me." Just then, another man entered the room in a hurry. "That video file spreading in the underground is not Hera Cruel."
Everyone in the room turned to the other man from the computer crime unit.
"Look at her face. See these glitches on her jaw?" the man gave them a thorough explanation, showing them some photos from Hera’s video that had been circulating in the underground. "It was deep faked."
"Who is the person behind it?" asked another man in the room.
"We’re still working on getting the original video, but because of the software used — it’s a lot more complicated," explained the tech guy. "Whoever did this is a professional."
"Don’t the Reapers have Joker with them?"
