Chapter 1009: Brewing omen
"Don’t worry. That Hera you met before is possessed. It was the devil’s talking. This body is back to its old management."
Hera smirked while the three could only look at her with equal disbelief and surprise. She arched a brow, glancing over her shoulder.
"They’re almost done," she muttered, snapping her eyes back to them. "Anything else you want to tell me?"
"That’s all we know," Primo snapped. "If Fig’s recovery is relevant information, then he was fine. Though the last time we spoke, he was reconsidering doing a healthy diet."
"I’m glad he’s fine." Hera nodded in understanding, raising her eyebrow once again upon sensing the look Primo was giving her. "I saw him get shot before I fell unconscious."
Or rather, the soul occupying this body not long ago.
"Where are they?" she asked, curious. "Those guys, I mean."
"I won’t tell you." Primo motioned his hand across his mouth, showing her a zipping action. "I might’ve risked my life to rescue you, but that information is something I would take to the grave."
"Did you tell Ram?"
"Hell no!"
"Good." Hera nodded in satisfaction. "Because if you did, I’m going to snap your neck right here and now."
