Chapter 948: Two down, one last to go.
"This is... I never thought I’d be this scary."
Hera almost choked on her own words as she kept her eyes fixed on Heaven. Heaven was truly different, almost admirable, but mostly scary. It wasn’t like she didn’t know that, considering she almost lost her mind when she first saw the memories of the original Hera.
Those memories were haunting. Perhaps the only reason the new Hera could live through all of those memories was because of the perspective of those memories. From the original Hera’s perspective, those memories weren’t as haunting nor they were as scary.
But now that the new Hera was watching Heaven, she couldn’t exactly describe what this felt like.
Meanwhile, Dragon glanced at Hera. He heard a part of what she said. Even so, he didn’t have the time to process or analyze things. He set his eyes back to the driver’s seat, and then at the windshield.
Heaven shot down the two men who were firing at them initially. Now, those men were simply hanging over the window, dead.
’Crazy,’ he thought, watching Heaven sit back down. ’That sword...’
While Heaven pulled out the sword and placed it to her side to manually drive the car, Dragon kept his eyes on the end of the sword handle peeking out from between the door and the seat. He had noticed it earlier, but ignored it. But now that he became aware of it, he remembered this sword.
It was one of the decorations he had in his house. He used it as a decoration, but he knew it was real. He got it from an auction and bought it for a high price, after all.
