Chapter 936: A problem arise
"Which one does hold the power in this operation, Bernard?"
Another moment of silence hung in the air as the wind took away the echoes of Ram’s voice. Bear kept his eyes on the track behind the Jeep, while Ram kept his gaze fixed on Bear’s figure.
Not long ago, Ram received a call from one of his men who attacked Primo.
From the call, he found out that the party Ram sent to take down Primo was wiped out. Only one person survived and it was because reaching him only needed one person. Although his soldier didn’t tell all the details because his life was on the line, Ram figured his former colleagues played a key role in the mission’s failure.
Ram only knew a few things. One of them was Wolf, the person he talked to, and the person who kept his soldier hostage. And second, his former colleagues were working with someone aside from Primo.
"Considering Dominic Zhu’s personality, it won’t be surprising if he was getting himself involved in things like this. After all, Dimitri was his assistant for many years. I’m sure he wanted to settle scores with him," Ram contemplated, taking another long drag of the cigar and looking up. "But his wife... for some reason, she won’t leave my head."
"I heard a lot of things about that woman. She’s full of mystery," he continued. "And some parts of her remind me of Hera. So, I won’t be surprised if that is the reason you were drawn to her, because she reminds you of Hera. However, if that is the reason you neglected Hera, then it would be hard for me to forgive you."
Ram cocked his head back, eyes falling back to Bear. "So? Who is the one giving you the order? Was it Dominic Zhu or his wife, Heaven Liu?"
"Does it matter?"
