Chapter 871: Justice served
Primo wanted to kill him — the man who took the lives of the innocent Marra, Alexa, and Martin. He planned to. Consumed with anger, his every punch and kick meant to kill Mr. John. However, just as they said, bad people don’t die easily.
Help arrived soon after Primo discovered Mr. John doing the unspeakable to Marra. He could barely remember the events after that, but he did remember being seized to the ground while he struggled to reach for the already dying Mr. John. Before he fell unconscious, Primo’s eyes veered to Marra in the shower.
’Marra...’ he whispered, his body growing heavy as a thick layer of tears coated his eyes. "Ma... rra..."
That was the last memory etched in Primo as he succumbed to the darkness right after that. Until now, Primo was uncertain if he wished not to wake up after that or if he still hoped to have woken up from this nightmare. But what he was certain was that the events after that gruesome crime followed a more devastating twist of fate.
Sitting in the court as a witness, Primo stared blankly into nothingness. When he woke up in the hospital, the police were the ones who were waiting for him and not his siblings. Perhaps, the sight of them was the last straw. He couldn’t remember everything that they were telling him or asking him. But he did acknowledge the fact that the prosecutor’s office helped arrange the funeral for him after conducting an autopsy.
The prosecutor in charge of the case? Prosecutor Mitchel.
What a twist.
Primo blinked weakly, turning his head to the side. There, standing beside the aisle, was Prosecutor Mitchel, looking down at him with mixed emotions in her eyes.
