Chapter 791: My heart is full
[FLASHBACK]
Dragon marched through the hallway, whistling while deftly tossing and catching a key in the air. His lips habitually curled into a smile, chuckling at the happy thoughts swirling in his mind.
Just today, upon returning from his mission, a gift welcomed him in his room. It was a gift from Hera, something she painstakingly acquired from somewhere that Dragon couldn’t access for many years. Thinking that she had thought of him and the effort she put into it put him in a good mood.
’She always acts like she doesn’t care,’ he thought with a light chuckle. ’I wonder what she’s doing?’
Dragon happily whistled, excited to see her. He was told that Hera was just in her room, and thus, he wanted to drop by for a short chat. Since the mansion they lived in was vast like a castle, it took him some time to reach her quarters.
Standing in front of her room, his lips stretched from ear to ear until his teeth were on full display. He raised his fist, about to knock on the door, but halted when he heard a man’s voice.
"Ugh..."
Dragon froze on the spot as his smile stiffened. His irises constricted as he gazed at the door.
"Uhmm... Ah... Yes, there...!" The man’s voice was faint, but with Dragon’s keen senses, he could hear the faint grunt and moan clearly.
’Hera!’panic surged in Dragon’s heart as his mind instantly inferred negatively. For him, someone could’ve snuck into her room and was doing the unspeakable. Although that didn’t make sense, considering Hera could defend herself even in her sleep, his mind protected him from any painful reality.
But alas, before he could kick the door and see what was going on, Hera’s voice reached him.
