"Goodness! I thought she would resign. What is she still doing here?" One of Heaven’s colleagues threw herself into her seat. "I can’t hold my breath any longer."
"The misunderstanding is already cleared up, and we accepted that Mister Yang made a mistake." Another employee expressed exasperation. "How can we work if she’s around?"
"My merch..." someone in the office held Heaven’s small picture, which she bought during Heaven’s rising fame. "I know I’m in the office, and she’s working in this filthy department, but I’m afraid she’d get angry if I asked for an autograph."
"I want a selfie with her too."
"Or maybe make my dream dinner with my favorite celebrity come true."
Everyone in the art department couldn’t help but express their worries and suppressed admiration. Unlike what Heaven suspected, most of them didn’t have the heart to ask her to run an errand anymore because she was Heaven Liu! She had been working in this place for quite some time now, after all. Therefore, she should’ve known that the majority of the employees here were her fans.
Many of them openly expressed their love for Heaven Liu. They even planned on rewatching her last film with Leo Wu last week. Although many of them still went to rewatch the movie for its last showing, they didn’t get to enjoy it.
How could they? Every time Heaven would appear in the movie, they couldn’t help but remember that the woman on the big screen turned into a slave in the art department.
"I want to talk to her so bad..." a female employee buried her face in her palm, lamenting about the boundary she shouldn’t cross. "I can’t believe I talked to her so casually in the past. What if she hates me and asks me to tear her merchandise that I preserved in my room?"
