Chapter 700: Confession and Rejection
"Once you’re ready, rest assured I’ll still be single. So, take your time. No rush. You don’t have to chase; I don’t run. I’ll still be in the same spot where you left me."
Warmth surged in Ivy’s heart as her eyes softened at Tiger’s remarks. Her smile turned soft as her cheeks turned a little pinkish, understanding the meaning of his words. She appreciated that he didn’t leave her confused tonight. It was clear as day that he’d wait, and they could try and see how things progress from there.
"Thank you," she expressed sincerely. "That means a lot to me."
Tiger smiled as he raised his shoulders a bit and tilted his head. "Also, you’re lucky you’re Heaven’s friend. You shouldn’t confess to people like that so abruptly. You almost lost your virginity in this car."
The softness in her eyes drastically disappeared as her face turned beet red. Tiger laughed aloud while she glared at him.
"You shouldn’t have opened your mouth again," she hissed and pushed herself away. "Thank you for the ride!"
"Hahaha! Geez." Tiger chuckled while shaking his head, seeing her stand a few steps from the vehicle. "It’ll be fun teasing her."
He shook his head once more as he set his eyes ahead. He arched a brow and waved at her before the car slowly moved away. Meanwhile, Ivy stood in the same spot while staring at the car’s bumper.
"Goodness. Does he really have to say that?" she murmured, touching her red face with the back of her hand. "It was already perfect. He didn’t have to mention my virginity and what could’ve possibly happened if he didn’t behave."
