Three days later...
"Bro, where’s sis?" Axel suddenly stopped reading the book Sebastian recommended to him the moment he thought of his sister-in-law. He turned his head and there, sitting on the one-seater couch, was Dominic playing on a portable gaming device.
Weird that Axel was reading while Dominic was playing. Did they somehow got sucked into a parallel world without them knowing? Or was the world ending?
"Working," Dominic answered as his upper body tilted a bit while he was engrossed in the game.
"Working?" Axel frowned, watching his brother get sucked into the addicting world of games. "Why is she working? Shouldn’t she be resting? I mean, it’s been three days since I last saw her."
"Mhm. I miss her too. Though she might come home later or tomorrow. Just wait a bit."
"That’s not the point." Axel let out a deep sigh. "Bro, can you please stop playing for a bit?"
"I’m on a crucial part."
"But —" He opened his mouth, but the rest of his words rolled back into his throat. He shook his head helplessly, sighing for the umpteenth time. "Just what is going on here? He didn’t hit his head and forgot who he was, right?"
"I can hear you, Axel. And no, I didn’t hit my head. I inflicted scratches and a bit of bruise because I wasn’t careful, but I’m perfectly fine."
"Then why are you playing instead of doing something else?"
