I transmigrated and got a husband and a son!

Chapter 618: [Bonus - ] I can’t keep failing them, Felice.

Primo leisurely wheeled Grandma Zhu inside the elevator. He then immediately closed it, not taking the risk of waiting for more people to catch up.

"Man..." As the door closed, he couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief. "It’s been a while since I felt this nervousness."

Grandma Zhu looked back to confirm if this guy was telling the truth. From the looks of it, Primo was being genuine.

"Old Madam Zhu, you know this will not be a problem if you just tell me what you know." Primo gazed down at her, thinking persuading the old woman while they waited to reach their destination would be productive. "Didn’t you say you want your great-grandchildren to be safe? I’ll make sure of that if you just tell me."

"Hah." Grandma Zhu snorted. "Did you forget that you said you didn’t take part in this planning? If you want to deceive me, you should’ve done so in the beginning."

"Aww. But I’m an honest man!" Primo let out another sigh. "It’s really hard to lie, you know?"

He smacked his lips and glanced at the numbers above the elevator. "Old Madam Zhu, can you please at least tell me why you don’t want to open that damn mouth? I mean, if you do, I’ll disappear from your life forever!"

Old Madam Zhu didn’t react. She simply kept her eyes on the door, reflecting Primo’s distorted image of standing behind her wheelchair.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about," she repeated, but this time, her tone was low. "Just drop it. If only I know, then why would I not say it? After all, I want you to disappear from our family’s lives. And therefore, I will definitely say it! But then again, how can I when I am just as clueless as you?"

Primo kept his eyes down on her, frowning. "At this point, I really want to believe you, Old Madam Zhu. I am this close!" he raised his hand, pinching the air to show her how close he was to believing her denial.

"However, did you really believe I will come to you carrying all these questions without enough grounds?" Primo bent over until his face was right next to her, eyes on their distorted reflection on the shut door. "Old Madam Zhu, you’re quite interesting, you know? You claim to love your family, but then again, you would rather shut your mouth and watch them all die in my hands just to protect another family."

"I mean... the Cruel Family already fell." He tilted his head to the side, eyes on the old woman’s side profile. "Why protect an already fallen family and risk your own? My questions are simple, aren’t they? All you need to tell me is what you know about the Cruel Family. That’s it. It doesn’t matter how big or small this information was. All I need is a bit of an idea about them."
