Chapter 613: [Bonus - ] Front and back
[OLD ZHU RESIDENCE]
A large group of men approached the north wing quietly. Their black suit camouflage with the darkness, casting each other a look. One man raised a hand and moved it ahead, signaling to everyone the surrounding was clear.
The residence was huge and vast, surrounded by a large area of green. Which explained the silence of the night. The men’s steps were quiet, but still, the grass underneath their feet rustled with their every step. That didn’t stop them, though. They advanced to the main residence, aware of the ins and outs of the place as they had studied it.
As much as possible, they didn’t want to engage in a shootout with the bodyguards stationed to guard the residence. Therefore, their employer sent some people to work in the household, drugging everyone tonight to give them an easier job. Even so, they were careful.
Again, the man who signaled them to advance raised his hand once more. This time, he motioned his hand in a circular motion. Seeing his signal, the men dispersed, circling around the residence until the place was surrounded.
Those who were left in the field, on the other hand, continued to tread toward the main door of the north wing. When the man reached the door, he peeked through the glass on either side of the door.
No one was inside.
He reached for the knob, twisting it carefully. When he found out if it was unlocked, he cast the rest a quick look. Nothing was said, but somehow, they nodded at each other. The man immediately and carefully opened the door. Somehow, the door creaked louder than it should. But that didn’t stop them from getting in.
The orders they received were to take Ria, Lionel, Sebastian, and Miracle with them. They weren’t ordered to kill them on sight, but rather, used them as leverage to deal with Dominic. Which explained why they were all being careful.
When they stepped inside, the man leading them stopped by the entryway. He raised a hand, making the people behind him stop in their steps. The man looked around cautiously until his eyes fell on the figure on the long couch nearby. He closed his fist, leaving his index erect.
Seeing that the captain of their unit was looking in a particular direction, everyone who was in the entryway turned their heads. There, on the long couch, was a man sitting on it. Deep lines appeared between their brows, catching some baskets of buns and snacks on the coffee table. Yet, the big, fat man who almost took the entire space of the long couch was not moving.
"Tsk." The captain cast the person on his right a look. "Check him."
