Heaven and Dane journeyed back to the office in silence. She realized she shouldn’t get involved in the affair with what he said. All she could do as a friend was to be Ivy’s support, but other than that, she could only stay on the sidelines.
When they arrived at the building, Heaven got a good scolding from Mr. Yang. She had to take all the scolding because she just suddenly disappeared from the venue, and then told her workmates she would go back first. But in the end, her workmate got to the office first before her. Therefore, Mr. Yang assumed she simply went out to do something on the side again.

"I heard you were scolded today because you disappeared from the venue," he said, revealing he was still keeping an eye on his wife despite his busy schedule. "You should’ve told them you rode with Mr. Zhang, and that he had to drop by somewhere else, which explains your delay."
