Chapter 521: [Bonus - ] Riding along the waves
Exploring the LYON Group headquarters was a little fun. Knowing Dominic was running this entire building, Heaven found it amazing. There were for sure thousands of employees in the company. How could he monitor every single one of them? Even if the CEO of the company had his own team who directly worked for him and helped him manage the company, Dominic was still amazing.
"Also... if I’m an employee, I don’t mind living in this company," she murmured as she passed through a busy department as if she were a supervisor. None of them noticed her, though. They were all busy in their cubicles.
Heaven smacked her lips, holding her hand behind her as she skipped her steps through the hallway. She already explored a few floors already, and she only had one word for everyone.
Fierce.
Everyone in every department she passed through seemed they were in a contest. They were all busy as if their life depended on their projects. Even those who were taking lunch breaks were reading while walking, or sometimes, they weren’t just mentally present. She watched them in the lift, feeling a little sorry that this fierce environment was almost close to toxicity.
As Heaven made her way to another department, she stopped when someone from the restroom came out. She flinched in surprise, swiftly taking a step to the side to avoid the lady from bumping into her.
"Woah!" Heaven instinctively raised her hand, turning her head to the lady who was running away, crying. "Hey, be careful!"
Her lips curved down, watching the lady look back at her and bow as if to apologize. The lady then continued running away, still crying.
"Goodness," murmured Heaven, snapping her eyes to the restroom where the crying lady came from. "What happened to her?"
