Chapter 516: Papa Bear

Princess sat on the edge of the bed, still wearing her suit, even though she had already clocked out. In her hand was a small bracelet she used to wear when she was a kid. She rubbed it with her thumb, staring at it affectionately because such a thing brought back many wonderful memories in the past.
Other people would say their treasures were gold, real estate, and wealth. But for her, this simple old bracelet was her most treasured item.
Since this bracelet was something she received at a young age, she only wore it for a few years until it could no longer fit her. Therefore, she would carry it around as a pendant or sometimes just keep it safely in her room.
"I used to hate her back then," she whispered with soft eyes. "Even until now, she gets on my nerves."
Thinking of the past, Hera was truly a reckless and stubborn one. She was annoying... but at the same time, too precious to hate. No matter how many hateful and mean things Princess said in the past, Hera would keep coming back to her. She was truly a persistent young girl.
’So... I’m not surprised she cheated death.’A short and airy chuckle slipped past Princess, lips closed, head shaking. "She’s that persistent. What a woman, indeed."
It wasn’t easy to accept the truth. No one in their sound mind would blindly believe that a dead person would come back to life but as another person. Even if this phenomenon was told to Hera, she would just laugh it off. There was no such thing as that sort of miracle. That wasn’t even a miracle, but a fantasy, a wishful and foolish dream.
This was something beyond human comprehension that even the greatest genius alive wouldn’t find answers to. However, it had been months since Heaven had confessed. Back then, her stomach was still flat and now, she had already given birth. That was how long before Princess and Gray were able to make peace with the truth.
