Chapter 507: Opening their hearts for forgiveness
When Dominic arrived and saw his wife watching everyone carry boxes of gifts, she gave him a brief explanation of those gifts. One truckload of gifts came from Axel. Dominic didn’t need to teach his brother a lesson because Axel was already suffering. The servants didn’t let the second young master idle, making sure he wouldn’t run away and hide.
Heaven also mentioned the other truckload came from someone close to her. When Dominic asked who it was, she didn’t hesitate to whisper the name of the other culprit.
Surprised at Gray’s grand gesture, he didn’t have a lot of comment on it. It was understandable. Thus, he quietly watched Gray help everyone out. Although he wasn’t whimpering or throwing tantrums like Axel, the exhaustion plastered on his face was evident. In other words, Gray was also suffering from his grand gesture.
The third truck, on the other hand, came from someone no one expected.
Silas.
Sitting around the dining table, Axel glared daggers at Silas. He just heard who sent the other truckload of gifts, and the moment he heard it came from Silas, he made sure everything was scanned thoroughly.
Who knew what sort of things he put in them?
"Thank you for the gifts, Silas," Dominic’s monotonous voice pierced the building silence in the dining hall. "I didn’t expect that you’d bother to prepare so many gifts for my kids."
Silas, who was on the far end of the long rectangular table, offered Dominic a smile. The latter was on the right end while Grandma Zhu was on the host seat on the end. They took their seat according to the family hierarchy, with Lionel across Dominic while Ria was beside him. Right next to them was Axel, and from this spot, he could see Silas in full view perfectly. Dominic, Heaven, and Sebastian sat across from them while Baby Miracle was being taken care of by Miriam.
