Chapter 504: Miracle’s 3rd month
Many things had happened in the past months since Sebastian’s abduction. Emotions — fleeting and deep-rooted feelings rose in those long months. That incident was a slap to the entire Zhu family, reminding them they were only humans. Their wealth wouldn’t save them if it was their time, and their influence could be challenged at any moment. People could hurt them for many reasons or no reason at all.
Aside from those harsh realizations, there were also good things.
For instance, all of them were able to emerge from that incident. Although they were still recovering their health to how it used to be, their hearts were grateful for this extension of life. They considered it as their second life, a chance to do better than they did in the past. A chance to correct their wrongs, and learn from the mistakes of the past.
And this time, the Zhu family wouldn’t take life for granted.

Heaven snapped her eyes up, seeing Princess carrying loads of gifts from friends and family. Princess’s foot was propped against the door to keep it open, tilting her head to the side as the boxes of gifts were over her.
"You can just put them all over there." Heaven pointed at the corner of the room where the rest of the gifts were.
Without saying anything in return, Princess carefully marched toward the corner. She bent down, placing the gifts carefully on the floor. Today was the Zhu family princess’s third-month celebration. Therefore, just like in the previous months, gifts were coming to the old residence like crazy.
It was just the third month, but baby Miracle was already being showered with love. One could imagine just how many gifts she would receive on her first birthday.
