Fig frowned and placed his hand on his stomach, feeling it grumble. He slipped his hand inside his suit, only to feel the empty packets of crackers he usually carried.
’I’m hungry,’he told himself, looking at his side. Tiger was sleeping like usual, and the other guards seemed a little bored as well.
Guarding the penthouse and doing nothing else was boring. The only way to quench that boredom was by eating for him. But he ran out of snacks and he couldn’t leave his post just to buy one.
*YAWN*
His brows rose as some bodyguards nearby felt a little sleepy. Even professional bodyguards like them get bored doing nothing aside from standing. If he could guess, they probably wanted to be stationed somewhere else where there was action.
’Not that I care.’Fig let out a sigh, setting his eyes on the door before him. ’Wait a minute. I don’t need to go out and buy snacks.’
The lifelessness in his eyes shone with vitality, sniffing hard. Thanks to his nimble feet, his footsteps didn’t make a sound.
’Smells so good.’Drool almost pooled in his mouth, making him wipe the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand.
