Chapter 470: Bed rest
Tiger was the last person Dominic thought would ’console’ him. To be fair, Dominic didn’t think he needed some word of advice from one of his laziest bodyguards. However, for some reason, Tiger’s advice worked. Instead of blaming himself, Dominic used that time to settle some matters.
Dane Zhang was injured, but all of them were from a rough ride. Therefore, Dominic took his assistant’s job to settle some matters. What happened concerned countless deaths, after all. Fortunately, Butler Fu was there to assist him. Dominic didn’t wait for any news from the doctors about his wife and son’s condition, but he planted people he could trust to look after their wards, including his parents’ wards.

"Mhm..." Heaven moaned and winced slightly. Her entire body felt sore, but her hand instinctively caressed her stomach. "Baby..."
Heaven had her eyes partially closed before they snapped open in panic. The baby!She was about to sit up, only to feel the end of something pressed against her shoulder. When she turned her head, she caught Grandma Zhu holding her cane to press her shoulder down.
"Little Heaven, I told you not to sneak out." Grandma Zhu huffed. "Don’t worry. Miraculously, the child is holding on tightly. It’s safe... for now. But the doctors said you need a bedrest, so don’t move around."
Heaven’s body stiffened, staring at Grandma Zhu with slight surprise. "The baby... is safe?"
"Yes, fortunately." Grandma Zhu retrieved the cane from her shoulder, sighing. "I heard what happened, and it’s a surprise that the baby is healthy despite what you went through."
"Thank God." Heaven’s eyes softened as her body relaxed on the bed, hands on her tummy. "Oh, God... thank you. Thank you... Thank you...:"
