Chapter 462: I hate children
Heaven stood in the middle of the hallway with a mere pistol in her hand and a phone in her pocket. Joker continuously spoke, giving out details she needed without care if she could hear him or not.
"On a good note, Bear already cleared up the third floor and is going crazy on the second floor. Ooops. A chopper incoming — oh, it’s not loaded with a bomb, thankfully, but that motherfucker finally showed up." Joker giggled from wherever he was, and by the change of his tone, Heaven knew he was elated for some reason.
"Send him one of your little spiders. I’ll deal with him later." Heaven breathed out, but the man on the other end of the line couldn’t help but arch a brow. But before Joker could comment on her "order," his face twitched upon hearing her speak.
"Get out of there!" Heaven yelled as she fearlessly marched through the hallway. "You better fight before I come for you!"
Heaven bent down on her way, looting a rifle from a dead person lying on the path. The corner of her mouth curled up as she hissed, picking up her pace toward the end of the hallway.
"There’s four people there. Two are armed with assault rifles: M16, the other two..." As she marched to her death, Joker gave her more details of what she should expect, giving her distance from where the enemy stood and so on.
"Though I don’t know if you understood all of that..."
"Doesn’t matter —" Heaven took a deep breath as she sprinted, gliding down to her knees as she raised the rifle she picked up previously.
