Chapter 457: That’s bad... this is bad.

"No..." Dane hid behind the other vehicle as he watched the other cars rev up. "... they should stay behind..."
His eyes shook, coughing at the thickening smoke in the surroundings. Yet, the growing worry in his heart refrained him from going inside the car. Right now, a few of the bodyguards were going into that building filled with bad people who, for sure, could take a person’s life without batting an eye.
Even though he wasn’t very fond of those bodyguards in particular except Bear, Dane felt guilty. Not to mention, Axel and Dominic were going to such a dangerous place as well. He didn’t like Heaven for many reasons, but considering she was pregnant, he believed she should’ve just stayed behind.
"You should just do what you can do."
Dane furrowed his brows at the person who spoke. Moving his head, his eyes fell on the overweight bodyguard Bear recommended in the past. Fig licked the crumbs on the side of his mouth, wiping his fingers on his fitted suit that seemed it wouldn’t fit him in a few months with his eating habits.
"Don’t worry about them," Fig continued, slipping his hand inside his suit. "Staying here or going with them is the same, after all. Or rather, it’s much safer if they go with those guys than stay here with us."
The lines between Dane’s brows deepened as he watched Fig pull out a pistol in a languid manner.
"Weren’t you listening?" Fig slowly pointed the pistol at the side, eyes still on Dane. "Who they wanted is Mr. Zhu. If they stayed behind, they’d be unguarded."
