Heaven was right. Axel and Mrs. Deng nearly had an accident with the way they walked down the stairs. Thankfully, Bear was there to avoid any of that from happening.
"Hah!" Axel huffed, standing beside the couch where Heaven sat. "What a disgusting — sis, do you have alcohol? This piece of trash had to make me drag her all the way here."
Heaven let out a chuckle as she fished out a small hand sanitizer from her bag. "Here," she said, tossing it to Axel, which the latter caught in the air.
After nearly falling down the stairs, Bear offered help. Axel didn’t refute, simply replying with a huff before tossing Mrs. Deng to him. Axel immediately went to Heaven’s side, waiting for Bear to drag that woman to Heaven.
Thud.
Bear dusted his hand off as he pushed Mrs. Deng in front of Heaven, but the latter subsequently fell on her knees at the sight of Heaven.
"Young madam..." Mrs. Deng’s face already paled from all the screaming and sweating. Looking at Heaven, the little hope in her heart resurfaced in an instant.
"Young Madam, please forgive me!" Mrs. Deng tried, kowtowing in front of the young madam. She might have failed to persuade Axel, but Heaven might sympathize with her. Even though she didn’t have a close relationship with the young madam like Miriam, Mrs. Deng believed Heaven had a big heart to spare.
Mrs. Deng didn’t need Heaven’s entire heart, but just a portion of it. If Heaven forgave her, then Axel wouldn’t do anything to her anymore.
