Chapter 349: Needs to get better ASAP
Meeting the in-laws was an inevitable situation a couple faced throughout their marriage. Heaven knew that the first time she tagged along with Dominic when Grandma Zhu fainted at the news of their divorce. It was one of the reasons she strategically chose to be close to Axel.
"Sis, hehe." Axel giggled as he put a piece of meat on her plate.
"Thank you." Heaven smiled at him before he scurried back to his seat.
Butler Fu, Grandma Zhu’s assistant, set up a table out of nowhere in the private ward. There, Grandma Zhu, Lionel Zhu, Ria Zhu, and Axel were eating. Since Heaven was told to rest, she ate on the bed with her son, Sebastian.
"Mommy, you should eat more, so you get better very soon." Sebastian blinked, looking up at her with his doe eyes.
Her smile stretched a bit. "Yes, here, have more, Basti."
Heaven placed a piece of carrot on her son’s plate that was placed on the over-the-bed table. Sebastian unhesitatingly took the piece of vegetable into his mouth, making his mother smile even more.
As Sebastian ate heartily to reassure his mother he was being a good boy, Heaven peeked at the round table near the bed. Everyone was eating with Madam Zhu, her mother-in-law, habitually putting food on Axel’s plate.
’They’re treating him like a child,’ she thought, but not surprised since Axel was the youngest. It was given they spoiled him rotten and thus, explained his childish side.
