As someone hooked on drugs, the doctor warned Manager Chu to be careful. Paula was already addicted, and the doctor thinks she needed rehabilitation because addicts can be dangerous.

Dragging her feet to the living room, Manager Chu couldn’t help but gaze down. As she did, she caught some red stain in the grout between the tiles. It wasn’t evident from the entryway due to the dim, warm light where she argued with Paula, but as she stepped on it, the floor felt a little sticky.
’Please... let me be wrong.’Manager Chu closed her eyes for a moment, treading carefully as her thought grew more and more negative. ’I hope I find nothing huge in the living area.’
To be honest, Manager Chu couldn’t think of what could be in the living area that Paula needed her help with. However, the sense of dread dominating her heart made her fear reaching their destination. Usually, it would only take several steps to go in there, but now, every passing second felt like several minutes.
’Please. I hope I find nothing...’Her thoughts trailed off as soon as Manager Chu stepped inside the living area.
Her breath hitched, catching a figure from her peripheral vision. Manager Chu gulped, deluding herself that what she was seeing was just something that appeared a like pair of feet. However, when she turned her head, her heart stopped for a moment, just like her breath. Her eyes went wide and the color of her face drained almost instantly.
There, behind the couch, was a pair of feet.
"Paula..." Manager Chu’s voice shook, frozen on the spot. "Who — who is that?"
