Paula bit her lips as she saw that her manager immediately saw her message, asking what happened. Paula didn’t go into further details and just told Manager Chu it was urgent.

Fine. Good thing I just turned since I forgot to tell you about the IV drip.]
Paula pressed her lips into an inscrutable line, sitting in the corner of the living area where she could see her friend’s body but with enough distance not to smell the stench of blood. Her face crumpled in fear, scared at the situation. Staying in a place with a seemingly lifeless body wasn’t an experience anyone would experience. To make that worse, Paula was the one who killed Heaven.

For Paula, Heaven was already dead. The latter wasn’t moving after all. Considering all the blood that she had to wipe off, Paula already assumed she killed her friend.
"She didn’t have to act all immaculate," she murmured, still blaming Heaven for her actions. "If only she listened and didn’t threaten me, then she would’ve been alive."
Paula clutched her chest as her heart perpetually raced, making her almost out of breath. Trying to drag a grown woman into a suitcase didn’t help her stabilize her breathing.
"It’s all your fault, Heaven." Bitterness shone in her eyes, staring at the body with deep hatred. "You should’ve just forgiven me when I told you I didn’t mean what happened to Dad."
