Chapter 306: [Bonus - ] What the hell is my husband doing here?
The scene between Heaven and Leo wasn’t daring as their first scene together. It wasn’t an action pack, just like what they had been doing since the past several scenes. The scene they needed to shoot was a scene where Leo got shot by Paula, and he had to come home, wounded and betrayed.
Heaven was in his place, like always.
It was an emotional scene where the best friend (Heaven) realized that Leo had already fallen in love with the female lead. It was a scene that would display a side of both outlaws that they hadn’t displayed in the previous scenes.
Leo sat on the edge of the bed. His clothes were tainted with fake blood while everyone was doing the last checks on the set.
"Yes, just stay there, alright? We already went through your lines, so the emotions you need to bring out in this scene are..."
Leo slowly raised his head, watching Director Guan assist Heaven in the corner of the room. Heaven and Director Guan were talking, but she had her full attention on the latter. Usually, she would glance at him and wave. But this time, it was like she was going to do a scene alone.
’Can we even do this properly?’ he wondered, knowing he and Heaven had just argued earlier today. Leo let out another sigh, hands on either side of him, head hanging low.
’Don’t think about anything else for now,’ he told himself, convincing himself to do better, to not anger her further. ’I’ll just apologize to her later. But for now, I have to focus.’
Leo closed his eyes, internalizing his character. He threw any unnecessary worry and concerns at the back of his head, escaping from Leo Wu’s reality and embracing his character.
