Chapter 304: Rock
Right after Director Guan agreed with Heaven’s suggestion, the staff ushered Bear to the scene and helped him with it. Even though Bear had been watching the filming on the side, they still guided him and briefed him on what he needed to do.
"Just wait for the protective gear, sir," said a female staff politely. "My colleagues were making sure it was safe so we can avoid accidents."
"It’s fine." Bear nodded, keeping his head cocked up as he stared at the structure of the establishment.
The staff looked at Bear with slight reluctance. Not just her, but everyone’s attention was on the old man. The moment Director Guan gave out the order, it took everyone off guard. They knew Director Guan wanted to include this scene, but this was a desperate decision!
Even though Bear looked reliable, he seemed too old for this! Therefore, everyone in the production was having second thoughts. Some of them tried to talk to Director Guan, while others just accepted the director’s decision. Even so, they had no expectations. They were just worried, that’s all. Which explained the crowd flocking around the set in case the poor old man would fall or fail.
Meanwhile...
"You’re crazy." Director Guan sighed, staring at Bear from the director’s seat. "Who is that old man, by the way?"
Heaven, who was standing beside him, grinned. "He’s my father."
"What?!" Director Guan gasped. "Heaven Liu, do you hate your father? Why would you suggest he do this dangerous stunt?"
"Haha! It’s not like that, Director Guan." Heaven drew a deep breath along with her chuckles, setting her eyes back on him. "He isn’t my biological father, but he’s like a father to me. If he can’t do it, I wouldn’t even think of proposing the idea. However, he might look old, but he’s built differently."
"Built differently?" Director Guan furrowed his brows, looking at Heaven suspiciously. "Although you sound like you trust him so much, I’m a little doubtful."
