"Get divorced."
Heaven had never been so bewildered in her life with just two words. It was so ridiculously idiotic that she somehow doubted her ears.
Was she hearing things?
"Heaven." Heaven flinched when Leo suddenly grabbed her biceps, holding her still with his eyes blazing with determination. "I know what I said sounds crazy, but I don’t know what to do anymore."
His grip around her biceps tightened as pain dominated his face. "Dominic Zhu is a powerful man, and I know he is not someone to offend. However... I can’t sleep at night thinking how you were suffering every single day."
"If you don’t love me anymore, that’s fine. I understand," he continued under his breath, carrying the sincerest look plastered on his face. "But let me help you."
For a while, Heaven could only look at him, speechless. She listened to everything he had spewed, repeating it in her head just to make sense of it. However, no matter which angle she looked, it was so ridiculous she was flabbergasted!
Here she thought Paula Shen was already foolish, but Leo’s foolishness somehow exceeded her expectations.
"Help me?" she breathed out after a moment of silence. "Oh, god. Who said I need help?"
