Dominic’s brows rose when he felt a mild pinch on his side. Turning his head, the smile on his face faded as soon as his gaze landed on his wife’s pair of burning eyes.
"You should shut up, Dominic Zhu," Heaven warned in a low tone. "I’m getting jealous. Do you want to meet her? Hah. Dominic Zhu, do you want to get in trouble?"
"Is this pinch... supposed to be like a weapon?"
"I’ll pinch you harder if you say something stupid."
Dominic pressed his lips into a thin line, assessing her countenance. For some reason, the corner of his lips curled up in satisfaction.
"There’s no need to be jealous," he remarked in a light tone, letting her pinch his side while holding her shoulders. "I want to see her because if not for her, I wouldn’t have met you. She saved my life, but I never got to thank her for it."
His lips stretched into a fine smile. "I think you look cute when you’re jealous."
"Gosh." Heaven clicked her tongue while he pressed his thumbs on the side of her mouth, forcing a smile on her face.
