"Would it be rude to ask about your family?"
Such a simple question and yet, Heaven and Bear involuntarily held their breath. Their eyes were fixed on the little master, a bit taken aback at his question.

Bear had a wife and before Hera died, she heard that his wife was pregnant. That was why Hera was relieved back then. She was relieved that even if she leave the world, there was someone who would take care of Bear, love him, and stay with him until the end of time.
However, after seeing him in this lifetime, Hera automatically shut off questions she had about Bear’s wife or child. She didn’t want to hear anything about it and forced herself to forget about that particular area.
Hera succeeded. Almost, but not quite.
"Basti." Heaven smiled, planting her hand on Sebastian’s shoulder. "You shouldn’t..."
Heaven trailed off when Bear spoke.
"What do you want to know about my family, little master?" Bear maintained a smile, earning a quick glance from Heaven. He fixed his eyes on the little master, smiling warmly when Sebastian pressed his lips into a thin line.
"I was just curious. Uncle Bear is not young anymore, but you’re still working hard." Genuine curiosity swirled in the boy’s eyes, holding the old man’s gaze. "You don’t seem you have a family as well since everyone always takes their day off, but you stay around. Don’t you have a wife? Or a kid? At your age, shouldn’t you have a grandchild?"
Bear chuckled at the little master’s remarks. "Little Master, I got married late."
