Sebastian hung his head low, standing in front of his mother and father. After bathing, Miriam encouraged him to tell what happened to Heaven. Since Heaven and Dominic were still in the living area, Sebastian came straight to them with Miriam’s help.
"Basti..." Heaven sighed, casting Dominic a look.
"I’ll take a bath first." Dominic flashed her a subtle smile, nodding at her. "Or do you need my help here?"
"It’s okay." Heaven smiled back. "I can manage."
"Alright." Dominic didn’t idle, casting Miriam a look.
"Yes. I’ll help the chef and prepare dinner." Miriam bowed, leaving right after Dominic.
Heaven glanced over her shoulder as her husband left. She then slowly set her eyes ahead, sighing as soon as her eyes fell on her son.
"Basti," she called with a gentle voice, watching him peek at him. "Come here, Basti."
Heaven tapped the space beside her. Sebastian pursed his lip into a thin line, reluctantly dragging his feet to her side.
"I’m sorry," Sebastian expressed in a tiny voice, fidgeting with his fingers while keeping his head down. "I didn’t mean for that to happen."
