"Daddy?" Little Yun stood in the corner of the dim bedroom, clasping his hands closer to his chest. His eyes were fixed on the man’s back, who was sitting on the chair before the desk. "Daddy, you’re scaring me. Why wouldn’t you let Mommy in?"
Silence.
Little Yun frowned, as his father had been like this. Ever since that fight with Sebastian, things in their home had been too bizarre for him. Little Yun couldn’t understand why his father was changing for the worst, hurting his mother, and even cursing him out loud.
There were times he would intervene, and the results instilled a deep fear in his young heart. If not for his mother, Little Yun would also be beaten, just like her. But his mother had protected him from his father’s fury.
Today was different, though.
Since months ago, his father wouldn’t even look at him and whenever he did, he would just glare at him. But now, he dragged Little Yun to his bedroom for a reason the child couldn’t understand. Though the child was scared.
’Mommy...’ Little Yun slowly sat down in the corner, hugging his knees. He peeked at the desk, but his father was still doing something. ’I wonder what is Daddy doing?’
