Chapter 208: Eat him for breakfast?
One of the worst types of villains was those without solid motives behind their evil actions. That was what Hera was and which was why many didn’t want her as an enemy. However, villains of those types were twice as terrifying once they moved with intention. Especially if the root of their actions stemmed from anger — wrath.
One had to be prepared because even if others knew what was coming, they could never do anything to stop it. Like an animal trapped in a train track, all they could do was watch the incoming train as smoke billowed in the sky.
"Uh..." the only woman in the group trembled in fear, watching Heaven beat up the guys mercilessly. The men tried fighting back but to no avail. They couldn’t even land a punch because Heaven was too swift for them.
’I...’the woman carefully took a step back, creating a distance from that deranged woman on top of the man.
Heaven continuously threw punches at the man’s face, sitting on his chest while gripping his collar. Even when blood started splashing all over the place, even tainting her face with red. She didn’t stop even when the man lost consciousness.
’I should run,’ the woman told herself, taking another step back. ’I’m scared... I need to run away.’
The woman could only think of saving her own skin. She was only hanging out with these guys because they had a lot of money from winning these races. However, it wasn’t worth dying here!
Just as the woman was about to turn, her breath hitched as Heaven didn’t land her fist on the man’s face. Her heart thudded against her chest, dilating her eyes when Heaven slowly twisted her neck until she was looking back at her.
"No... I didn’t do anything," the woman stuttered, taking another step back when she saw Heaven stand over the man. "I just hang out with them because they threatened me! Please, don’t hurt me! I didn’t do anything — I tried stopping them that night, but they wouldn’t listen and still pick on the pretty boy!"
