"Mm." Heaven moaned while stretching her body, turning her head as she opened one of her eyes. "You’re still awake?"

As soon as her coarse voice reached Dominic’s, he looked back at her and smiled. "I tried sleeping, but I somehow couldn’t. Sleep some more."

His brows rose when Heaven dragged her body to sit up. She still looked sleepy, scratching her head.

"Do you need anything?" he asked, curious.

"Mm. Water." Heaven turned her head to the bedside table at the same time Dominic glanced at it.

Heaven had a habit of bringing a glass of water at night for the reason she gets very thirsty after rounds of intimate time with him. Though they didn’t do anything tonight, the glass was empty.

"I’ll get you a glass," he said, about to put the book away, only to stop when she shook her head.

"I’ll do it." Heaven smiled. "I’m going to the bathroom, anyway."
