Chapter 149: A strange turn
The day went by in a blur. Heaven could only remember anything remarkable in the entire day, using every minute to kill time until Sebastian got home and Dominic a few hours later. Heaven went to the cellar one last time before Sebastian arrived home at four in the afternoon.
As usual, Heaven fawned over her son, tending to his needs and asking him about his day. The time didn’t feel that long when Sebastian was around and before they knew it, they were already having dinner with Dominic.
There was nothing out of the ordinary; everyone went by their day like usual except one person.
Andrea.
Dominic sat on the bed beside Heaven, slipping under the blanket. He turned his head to his wife, who was already lying on the other side of the bed, facing him.
"You seemed to be in a good mood," he pointed out, dragging his bottom until his back was resting against the headboard.
Heaven grinned, pulling the blanket over her shoulder. "Is it that obvious?"
"Hmm." Dominic picked up a book on the bedside table, then faced her once again. "How was your day? Did something happen?"
"Well." Heaven smacked her lips as she pondered for a moment. "You can say I just felt productive."
His brow arched, intrigued. "Want to talk about it?"
"It’s nothing much. I purchased a set of computers and then helped Bear in the greenhouse?"
