Chapter 147: Habits
There was no denying Heaven felt this surge of relief upon digging deeper into Andrew Song’s life. For her, getting his real name was the most troublesome task. However, everything after that was easy with the Devil’s Eye still in her possession.
After hours of research and investigation, Heaven was ninety-eight percent sure Andrew Song, now Andrea Ng, was working alone. The other two percent originated from the fact there was always a little possibility. But with such odds, Heaven wanted to believe this was simply a desperate act of revenge.
"You have a bounty on your head. Be grateful I am not the one who will personally cut you."
After saying her piece, Heaven walked away without even looking back. There were countless ways to dispose of Andrea’s body and it wasn’t a lie Andrea must be grateful. Letting Heaven get dirty would be something even the most ruthless people in the underground wouldn’t wish.
Heaven closed the cellar securely, making sure it was locked. Lucky for her, there was no one scheduled to clean the cellar today. Thus, Heaven had an entire day to settle things before someone discover Andrea in the underground cellar.
’I guess heaven is still on my side,’ she thought, ironically since what she was doing concerned another person’s life. ’Not only this person showed up the night before Basti would go back to school, but also, the next day this place would be vacant.’
Her eyes glinted as she snapped her eyes up at the door. ’Hah... who am I kidding? This wasn’t luck, but the credits go to that person. Andrea just probably didn’t want anyone to find my dead body if she succeeded so she could buy herself some time.’
That must be it.
Unfortunately for Andrea, her plans backfired because it wasn’t Heaven’s body that was being hidden in this underground cellar, but Andrea’s. The only difference was that Andrea was still alive compared to Heaven’s fate if the former succeeded.
