Heaven made a lot of thinking last night that even Dominic noticed how distracted she was. She only reasoned about their absence at the family gathering, in which Dominic reassured her not to worry. Perhaps that was the reason Dominic volunteered to drop Sebastian to school so she could rest.
Their weekend might have been pure leisure, but it was still exhausting. That was what Dominic and Sebastian believed. Thus, they wanted to give Heaven some time to recharge.
How considerate... not knowing the me-time they were giving her would be used to this sort of situation.

"Your food." Heaven slid the tray closer. "You should eat to have some strength."
Andrea assessed Heaven’s face with narrowed eyes. She could feel her stomach grumbling. Not only she was tired and wounded, but she also hadn’t eaten since last night.
