"Heaven, you’re not angry, are you?" Paula stretched her hand to hold Heaven’s hand.

"Why would I be angry?"

"You don’t have to put up a brave front, Heaven. I know you and Senior Wu used to have a thing — he is your first love, after all." Paula pressed her lips into a thin line, squeezing Heaven’s hand mildly. "Everything about us is all about work, that’s all."

Heaven bit her tongue, assessing the apologetic expression plastered on Paula’s face. "Do you see me as someone stupid, Paula?"
