"Are you going to meet your friend?" "Mhm." Heaven nodded at Sebastian, smiling. "But I’ll meet her somewhere nearby, so I can pick you up in two hours."
She reached for his head, ruffling his hair gently. "Be good, alright?"
"Okay," he answered monotonously. "I’ll go now."
"Mhm." Heaven maintained a wide smile, watching the driver assist Sebastian out of the vehicle. She followed his figure with her eyes, moving to where he sat to see her son being welcomed by some teacher at the entrance.
Heaven only thought of meeting Paula Shen to kill time, since Sebastian had to go to the learning center. She didn’t want to sound like an irresponsible mother and ask him to skip his lesson.
"Right... that’s another problem," she murmured to herself, sighing. "My son’s schedule is only vacant this week, but then, his days were full of tutorials and lessons."
It almost slipped her mind, and to be honest, Heaven was undecided if she needed to do something about Sebastian’s schedule. Well, if Dominic could tweak his schedule, maybe they could lessen the lessons their son was attending.
As Heaven planted her hand on the seat, she felt something underneath her palm. She gazed down, only to see the small lunchbox she made for Sebastian.
"He forgot it," she muttered, gazing up to see Sebastian still by the entrance of the establishment.
There were other people — children and parents or guardians — walking to the learning center. Seeing the scene outside, Heaven realized she should’ve gone out and walked her son to the entrance like a proper parent.
