Chapter 76: [Bonus - ]I don’t like sharing.
Just almost a week ago, Heaven and Dominic were on the brink of divorce. Their crumbling marriage continuously fell apart in the last five years, barely seeing or talking to each other. They were both unhappy, especially their son, Sebastian.
Until now, Dominic had no clear answer about her sudden change of heart.
Why did his wife change?
Why all of a sudden, she wanted to fulfill the role she neglected for years?
Myriads of whys occupied his head for the past several days and even when he tried to get rid of them, he just couldn’t. Although he managed to throw them at the back of his mind, those questions were still somewhere in his head.
With what was going on at the moment, those questions resurfaced in his head once again as he jerked inside her, pressing his body atop her. He didn’t think anything much earlier, but now that he came back to his senses, he couldn’t help it.
"Hah..." Dominic panted, propping his arm beside her head to watch his weight. When he snapped his eyes ever so tenderly, all he saw was her parted lips as she catch up to her breathing.
"Do you believe me now?" he asked, getting her attention. "That it gets better if you bear with it for a while."
He moved his face closer to her face, brushing the apex of his nose against her cheek. A short wave of chuckle slipped past her closed lips, feeling ticklish at his gentle touch.
"Mhm. You were right." Heaven drew her head back slightly to look at his handsome face. "It was good, though tiring."
"All you did was lay down there, though."
