After Divorce, Billionaire Ex Found Me Pregnant

Chapter 171 Time’s Ticking.

Irene sat in the far end of a café, picking on her nails as she impatiently waited for someone to arrive.

After a few minutes, she sighed loudly and shook her head, cursing at herself internally over the fact that she had actually chosen to meet a total stranger because they said they had crucial information relating to her father.

Her father, just the thought of the man she had not known for her entire thirty years of life brought a sour taste to Irene’s mouth.

But why did she care so much about him. He had disappeared even before she was born and her mother, when she had been alive, had always told her the story of how her father had abandoned them both, choosing to marry a rich heiress instead.

Irene considered him an ungrateful bastard, and still does, so why show up today? Well it was obvious, she wanted to find that rich son of a bitch and ruin his life, scatter his family like he had chosen to hers.

Irene was pulled out of her thoughts by the sound of someone pulling the chair in front of her open.

“I apologize if I kept you waiting,” The handsome stranger flashed her a smile as he slipped into the chair. His blue eyes scanned her for a few seconds before he added, “The resemblance really is apparent.”

Irene shrugged his words off. “And you are?”

“Jamil Vanadas,” He extended his hand, awaiting a handshake that never came. Calmly, he withdrew his hand. “One of my employee contacted you, saying he had crucial information concerning your father. You’re interested in finding him, right? I can help with that, for a price of course.”

“Crucial information, price and all, none of that matters as long as I haven’t seen prove. Where’s the evidence that you know who my father.”

Jamil smiled at this and he pulled out a small brown envelope from his suit pocket. “Here’s your proof.” He said, handing the envelope to her.
