Chapter 166 Herox Media.
The meeting, although seemed brief, had lasted a few hours. At the conclusion of it all, Leonica stood outside of Ashley’s classroom, watching as both mother children apologized to him.
Smart people, she thought recalling how they had all chosen to apologize to Ashley rather than transferring schools and risking their child not being accepted in any other school, they chose the right choice.
"Watching from away, one would think you’re abusing your power." A voice commented from behind her, and a small smile made its way to her lips.
"Is there a problem with that?" She asked turning to face Arvan. "Misusing my authority to protect my child?"
Arvan smiled and walked towards her. "No," He whispered, stopping inches away from her. "I find it rather, admirable."
She couldn’t help but laugh at his response. "Admirable." With a shake of her head, she dismissed the topic. "Did you come here to see Daisy?"
Arvan’s expression slumped a bit at the mention of said child, but he nodded. "Yes. Their homeroom teacher called to inform me of her odd behavior. Apparently some kids made fun of her because she has a single father." He said the last part with a tight smile.
Leonica sucked on her teeth. Those children really were devilish. "They have no idea that they’re messing with the wrong kids or perhaps they’re too naive to know what social standing is." She said, earning a chuckle from Arvan.
“It’s the second one.” He informed her.
“Of course,” Leonica muttered and looked down at the time. “I should go and pick up Ashley, we have to go to the hospital for his checkup today.”
“Ashley, his condition hasn’t improved?”
